Important information: On Monday the 15th December Oli, Karen and MyLocalDoc will be at Bellflower Resort (meeting room, 118 Bellflower Road, Sippy Downs) from 9am to 4.30pm.

We invite all patients who want to continue to see Oli to come along to complete the necessary paperwork so we can organise timely transfer of medical records. To minimise congestion we suggest surnames A-M attend in the morning (9am to 12pm) and surnames M-Z in the afternoon (12.30pm to 4.30pm) if possible. Dr Oliver Gunson – BM, FRACGP, DRCOG, PgDip (Therapeutics)

Hi! I’m Dr Oliver Gunson

I was born in England and did my medical school training at Southampton University, qualifying in 1992. I practiced in the hospital system in both England and Australia before becoming a GP. Within the hospital, I worked in general medicine, general surgery, care of the elderly, orthopaedics, urology, Accident and Emergency, paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology and ENT. I practiced for ten years as a GP in England and have worked on the Sunshine Coast as a GP for nearly 16 years. I am interested in all aspects of General Practice and am a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

Outside of work, I have been married to Karen for nearly 30 years and we have 21 year old twin boys. I like to read, garden and try and keep fit! I am an avid armchair sportsman with particular interest in cricket, rugby union (Queensland Reds), Formula 1 (Lewis Hamilton) and football with a round ball (Manchester United).
